Masaki Fujihata Mersea Circle

The final 'Coast Digital' artwork by Masaki Fujihata inspired by Mersea Island is at firstsite. Fujihata has transformed the collected data into an animated projection creating a virtual 3D experience of the island through which participants can navigate.

Penny Brice Essex Squeeze

This Brightlingsea based artist worked as a researcher for 'Mersea Circles'. Through this new commission, she gives a personal response to living and working along the Essex coastline. Using materials taken directly from her local environment, the artist will create an installation that literally brings the coast into firstsite.
